Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Destiny Guru operates https://destiny.guru ("the Site"), an online service that calculates Destiny Matrix charts and provides written interpretations of them. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. What you are buying

We sell access to digital content: written interpretations of a chart calculated from a date of birth, viewable on the Site and exportable as a PDF. There is no physical product and no personal consultation — nobody reads your chart individually. Interpretations are written in advance for each combination of numbers.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or make a purchase. By using the Site you confirm that you are. If you are buying a child matrix, you confirm that you are the child's parent or legal guardian, or that you have their permission to use the child's date of birth.

You may enter another adult's date of birth — for example, for a compatibility reading — only if you have a lawful basis to do so. You are responsible for that; see the Privacy Policy for what it means in practice.

4. Your account

Some features require an account. You agree to give accurate information, keep your password confidential, and tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe someone else has accessed your account. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.

You may close your account at any time from your account settings or by writing to us. Closing an account removes your saved charts and personal data as described in the Privacy Policy; purchased access does not survive account deletion.

5. Prices, payment, and access

• All prices are shown on the Site in US dollars and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout. Your bank or payment provider may apply its own conversion rate or fees, which we do not control.
• Purchases are one-time payments, not subscriptions. Nothing renews automatically and we do not store your card details — payments are handled by our payment providers.
• A purchase grants unlocks, not a specific chart. You choose which birth date to spend an unlock on afterwards, in the calculator, and confirm that choice. Once an unlock is spent on a date, it is used.
• Access granted by a completed purchase does not expire, for as long as we operate the Site. See clause 11 on what happens if we discontinue the service.
• Promotional discounts apply only while the promotion runs and cannot be applied retroactively to an earlier purchase.

Refunds are covered separately in the Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. What you may and may not do with your reading

Your reading is licensed to you, not sold. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read, download, and print your interpretations for your own private use.

You may not:

• republish, resell, distribute, or share our interpretations, in whole or in substantial part, whether free or for payment;
• use our texts as material for your own consultations, courses, books, or client readings;
• use automated means to copy, scrape, or bulk-download content from the Site;
• circumvent, or attempt to circumvent, the access controls that separate free and paid content;
• share your account credentials so that others can read content you have paid for;
• use the Site to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, or attack the service.

Sharing your own PDF with your partner or a family member for personal reading is fine and always has been. What is not fine is turning our library into a product of your own.

7. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — interpretation texts, design, code, illustrations, and the wordmark — belongs to Destiny Guru or is used with permission, and is protected by copyright law. The underlying Destiny Matrix method and the Major Arcana tradition are not owned by anyone; our particular expression of them is.

Your birth data remains yours. Calculating a chart from it does not give us any claim over it.

8. Reviews and content you submit

If you leave a review, you grant us permission to publish it on the Site together with your first name. Please keep it honest and civil: we may decline to publish, or later remove, reviews that are abusive, misleading, unrelated to the service, or that contain other people's personal information. You can ask us to remove your review at any time.

9. Availability and changes to the service

We aim to keep the Site available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, technical failures, and events outside our control can interrupt it.

We continue to edit and expand our interpretations. The text you read today may be revised later; this is normal and is not a defect. We may add, change, or remove features and pricing plans. If a change materially reduces what you have already paid for, we will tell you and offer a fair remedy.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• the Site and its content are provided "as is", without warranties of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose;
• we are not liable for decisions you make, or actions you take, on the basis of our content — see the Disclaimer;
• we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profit, lost opportunity, or emotional distress;
• where we are found liable despite the above, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or the statutory rights of consumers. If you are a consumer in the EU, the UK, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection, those rights apply in addition to these Terms and are not reduced by them.

11. If we discontinue the service

Should we ever decide to close the Site, we will give reasonable advance notice by email to registered users, and a period during which you can export your purchased readings as PDF files. We consider this the minimum decency owed to someone who paid for lifetime access.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms — in particular clause 6, and attempts to obtain paid content without paying for it. Where the breach is minor and fixable, we will normally warn you first. If we close your account for a breach, purchased access is forfeited.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The effective date at the top always shows the current version. For material changes affecting your rights we will notify registered users by email at least 14 days in advance. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms; if you do not accept them, you may close your account.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the law of the country in which Destiny Guru is established. If you are a consumer, you may also rely on the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.

Before going to court, please write to us at [email protected]. Most disputes turn out to be misunderstandings that can be settled in a couple of emails. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.

15. Miscellaneous

If any clause of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refund Policy, and Disclaimer, form the whole agreement between us.
